Community Catalyst Launches New Toolkit for State Advocates with Help of CHIR, Starting with a Guide to Reinsurance

Last week, North Dakota enacted legislation to establish a state reinsurance program, and a number states are currently considering similar bills. With state legislative sessions in full swing, lawmakers are debating various proposals, including reinsurance, to improve access to affordable and comprehensive coverage. As advocates work with state officials on these issues, it is critical to have the necessary resources to inform their efforts. To help advocates engage in these conversations, Community Catalyst, with support from CHIR experts, launched a new website that will house a health insurance reform toolkit for advocates.
