New Primary Care Options for Medicare Advantage Customers

If you’re looking for a Medicare Advantage plan, you have new options for choosing your primary care provider.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) has helped bring three new Advanced Primary Care providers – CareMore, Cityblock, and Iora Primary Care – to North Carolina to serve Medicare Advantage customers. Advanced primary care practices have opened in Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point, and more will continue to be added.
These clinics are different from most other physician practices. For starters, there’s no feeling rushed – you can spend as much time as you need with your doctor. In fact, there’s an entire team to personalize your care – consisting of the physician, health and nutrition coaches, nurses, behavioral and mental health specialists, community health workers and others to help you get the care you need.
The practices are especially well-designed to serve Blue Cross NC Medicare Advantage members with one or more chronic conditions. But you don’t need to have an ongoing medical concern to benefit. When you choose Advanced Primary Care, you will enjoy care that is more personal, more convenient and more connected.
